Working with us
Our crews prune, remove and care for trees on homes, condo associations and business properties across Andover. The work is outdoors in every season: dormant pruning in winter, plant health care in spring, storm cleanup whenever the weather turns. Every job is planned around safety and done to ANSI A300 pruning standards and the Z133 safety standard.
We hire for attitude and teach the rest. Some of our roles need experience; others are a starting point for someone who wants to learn the trade and work toward arborist certification.

Tree climber / arborist
- Climb and prune trees using ropes and saddle, and remove trees in sections with rigging
- Read a tree for defects and make proper pruning cuts
- Looking for: two or more years of climbing experience, solid rigging knowledge, and a commitment to safe work. Massachusetts Certified Arborist or ISA certification is a plus.
Ground crew member
- Run the chipper, drag brush, lower wood with ropes and keep the work zone safe
- Clean up the property so it’s left better than we found it
- Looking for: reliability, physical fitness and a willingness to learn. No tree experience needed. A valid driver’s license is a plus.
Crew leader
- Lead a crew on the job, plan the work, and talk with customers on site
- Make sure every job follows our safety and pruning standards
- Looking for: tree industry experience, leadership, and a clean driving record. A CDL and arborist certification are a plus.
Plant health care technician
- Inspect trees for pests and disease, and carry out treatments and soil care
- Keep clear records of what was done and when to check back
- Looking for: an interest in tree biology and pests. A Massachusetts pesticide applicator license is a plus, or the willingness to earn one.
